Fresno's morning radio is very different than it was a year ago. "The Front Row" (103.7) is now gone and has been replaced by "Mancow". I never thought I would miss The Front Row but Mancow is terrible.
Also new is the "Adam Corrola Show". It has replaced "Kevin and Bean" which was really starting to grow on me. They had some good radio sketches and I wish they were still here.
The biggest change is something the whole country has experienced:
Howard Stern has moved on to Sirius and The Jack has replaced him locally. I am lucky enough to have Sirius and I love Howard's show. It is the ultimate in radio entertainment from the man who started it all.
In some markets, David Lee Roth has taken over Howard's old spot. Being an ab-normally large Van Halen fan, I was real curious to hear what Dave sounds like doing a radio show. You can check it for yourself by going to
Roth Radio. I was very surprised to hear how docile he is. That is not the Dave I know.
