Podcasting in 'The No'
Call me a wheel squeaking, but I want some Fresno Bee article love given to Fresno's Podcasts.
A Bee writer wouldn't need a lot of grease because there are only three podcasts.
The lead cast, Flowing With Famous, is hosted by the beautifully intelligent Jarah and snark-witted Malcom. It's always a fun listen and is a good example of the creativity that is beginning to boil-over in Fresno.
Coming in second is the, Dorktown Radio Show. Unprofessionaly hosted by my dork self and funny-ass-Armo, Zohrab (better known as Bells). It's supposedly funny but I'm not the one too judge it. It's very Fresno.
Third (only because it's the newest Fresno "cast") is The Ol 1-2. This one strives to be recognized outside of Fresno with its playing of "Podsafe" hardcore punk and metal music. Host, Dan Ramirez, is as professional sounding as the best podcaster out there and he'll make you want to listen to more.
So, Mr. Bee writers, wake-up and write a story about Fresno's emerging "podcast scene". Hell, Mike Oz even appeared on a (currently not broadcasting)podcast from Greytank Records, so I know he knows about this stuff.
And if Donald Munro or Rick Bentley doesn't want too, Maybe Bentley's Goatee does.

Good luck. I started the first podcast out of Bakersfield. I also consulted with the Bakersfield Californian on their blog community. No pat on the back, no big article on the Buck City Podcast or my blog: Paperback Writer Talks Music and the Arts, that probably gets more readership than the local paper... Oh, and after I started my podcast, the newspaper followed suit. Big mean copycats.
I, on the other hand plan on uniting Fresno and Bakersfield through a site called http://thebuzzblogs.com. I will add the fresno podcasts, do a write-up on nlbelardes.com, and even add your blog if you'd like... get back in touch: nl@nlbelardes.com
I already added 'sour grapes'.
Please advise on more Fresno blogs to add...
I enjoyed your wiffle stuff.
